Next up, you can reboot the machine into the recovery process. The app also offers you a backup solution in case you have not been able to backup your data, prior to this point.

This is optional and if not required, you can skip it and go straight to the main operation of reformatting the Windows partition of your hard disk, followed by the reinstallation of the original software.

Upon the app completing the reformatting operation, the PC restarts and the Windows operating system installation begins. We don’t have any change log information yet for version 5. The owner of the notebook is asked during setup if he or she is ready to create recovery media. It would seem that you forgot to do that. The following method was available from within Windows or from F11 during startup unless Windows was corrupt or the recovery partition was disturbed or deleted. If it is then you should temporarily reinstall it, boot to Windows and create usb recovery media by use of the HP Recovery Media creator.
